Johnson High School 2007 ACE Academy Staff

The Johnson High School ACE Academy truly has one of the most unique and skilled faculty anywhere. All the teachers involved in the ACE Academy each brings a certain expertise to further the academic growth of its members. No where in the district is there a more dedicated and more committed staff. Johnson High is truly lucky to have such a terrific staff.

Chao Kong - Mr. Kong is an educational assistant for Johnson High School. In addition, he is also involve in the ACE Academy High Mileage Vehicle program. Mr. Kong has worked with cars for many years and can do wonders with them. David Gundale - Mr. Gundale is the ACE Academy leader and also the woodshop teacher at Johnson High. He has been tremendous ever since his arrival. Mr. Gundale teaches wood working out of the wood shop next to room 25. Theavy Lo - Ms. Lo teaches mathematics out of room 214. She also teach Digital Electronics out of room 25. Ms. Lo have been a great inspiration to all the Asian girls at Johnson. Norine Hartman - Mrs. Hartman enjoys teaching family and consumer science at Johnson High. She loves working with the diverse student body and hope that every student cherished their time here at Johnson. She teaches clothing and interior design out of room 231. Yia Xiong - Mr. Xiong is a teacher's assistant at Johnson. He loves to work with students with learning disabilities. His presence at Johnson has helped many students to succeed. Anthony Leciejewski - Mr. Leciejewski graduated from University of Minnesota Duluth. He is a huge hockey fan, especially the Bulldogs of Minnesota Duluth. In addition to teaching math, Mr. Leciejewski is also the boys tennis coach and the Johnson High School Math Team assistant coach. He is married and just recently became a proud father to a beautiful baby girl. Mr. Leciejewski can be reach via email at anthony.leciejewski@spps.org.  Timothy Stowman - Mr. Stowman was born and raised in Minnesota. He did both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Minnesota. Prior to coming to Johnson High, Mr. Stowman taught in Stillwater, Minnesota and run his own business. He is the sole proprieter of Stowman Construction. In addition to teaching social studies and working as the work experience coordinator at Johnson High, Mr. Stowman likes to fish, hunt, and work with woods. He can be reach via email at timothy.stowm... Kathy Thueson - graduated from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Thueson started teaching at Johnson High in 1999 and loves every minute of it. She teaches culinary arts out of room 231. Mr. Vang graduated from Mankato State University in 1995 and started to teach at Johnson High right away. He has been here ever since. In the spring of 2000, he received his Masters of Education from Saint Cloud State University. Mr. Vang teaches math at Johnson and in his spare time, likes to play soccer and baseball with his two kids. Mr. Vang can be reach via email at lou.vang@spps.org Greg Saunders - Mr. Saunders really loves to teach drafting and civil engineering classes out of room 25. Through the years, his students have created some pretty amazing 3D drawings and miniature models of various houses and buildings. His CAD lab and Project Lead The Way programs have been great additions to Johnson High. Colin Denis - Mr. Denis teaches AP Physics and Principles of Engineering out of room 219. Stacy Casper - Ms. Casper has been a terrific addition to Johnson High. She works extremely well with Johnson students and have been helping many Johnson seniors with their senior project paper. Ms. Casper teaches English out of room 110. Michael Kellog - Mr. Kellog teaches English out of room 110. Mr. Kellog wants to challenge every Johnson student to read as many classic novels as possible.
