To qualify for the Johnson High School Health Sciences Academy certificate a student must meet three criteria:
- A minimum GPA of 2.75 in 10 academy required or elective courses (on an unweighted 4.0 scale).
- Complete a minimum of 30 hours in career-based experiences. Students must illustrate the connection between their experiences and their academy.
- Successful completion of the Senior Project requirement for graduation from Johnson High School.
These requirements are similar to those for all academies at Johnson High School.
